The Leading Hand Assets Maintenance role offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on work with leadership responsibilities while making a tangible impact on community infrastructure. About the role

- Leading and motivating the team to work collaboratively, communicate effectively and achieve shared goals.
- Getting hands-on with maintenance across roads, drainage and other civil works.
- Taking on a variety of practical tasks, from minor carpentry and painting to sign installation, high-pressure cleaning and herbicide application.




- Helping manage resources and budgets by monitoring operational and capital expenditure. No two days will be the same. Salary:
$84,834
- $91,828 (IA Level 5) Key selection criteria
- Proven ability or experience in a varied range of asset maintenance tasks.
- Proven materials, equipment and cost estimating, job cost and budgetary control.
- Proven sound supervisory, training and basic human resource management and employee relations skills.
- Proven developed oral, written literacy, numeracy and computer skills to negotiate with other employees, higher level staff, clients, suppliers and members of the public.
