DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER
- FEMALE AB NURSES SUPPORT SERVICES Altona Meadows, VIC AB Nurses Support Services is seeking passionate Female Disability Support Workers to join the team. We are looking for competent, enthusiastic and Support Worker who possess the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our client. We currently need Support Workers for our client in Altona Meadows. Shifts are from 7 am to 11 am and 1 pm to 5 pm. You must be prepared to work extra if required. You must have experience in the following:
- Complex care
- Checking blood pressure and glucose levels
- Changing cathetars
- Use of Sara Steady
- Personal care
- Household tasks
- Cooking
- Shopping
- Cleaning
- Full nursing care Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current National Police Check (no more than 6 months old).
- Valid Australian Driver’s License.
- A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (to transport participants).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- The right to work in Australia.
