About the role
Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for delivering civil engineering design solutions across a variety of development projects from concept through to construction.
Key responsibilities
- Preparation and coordination of civil engineering designs for land development projects
- Design of roads, drainage, earthworks, sewer and water infrastructure
- Preparation of functional and detailed design drawings
- Stormwater management and drainage modelling
- Liaison with clients, councils, authorities and other project stakeholders
- Management of project deliverables, budgets and timelines
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
- Assisting with business development and client relationship management About you
- Significant experience in civil engineering design, particularly within land development projects
- Proven experience delivering subdivision and civil infrastructure designs
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D/12 D and related design software
- Sound understanding of Victorian council standards and statutory approval processes
- Experience in drainage design and stormwater management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Chartered status or progress towards chartership
- Experience working within consulting engineering environments
