About the role
Eastwood Private Hospital is looking for caring and enthusiastic Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to join our friendly nursing team. Our ward predominantly cares for patients following orthopaedic and plastic surgery, with a strong focus on providing safe, individualised post-operative care and supporting patients through their recovery. - Providing direct nursing care to patients recovering from elective surgery
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensuring a safe, clean and well-organised patient care environment
- Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families What we're looking for
- Current registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Demonstrated experience in a surgical nursing environment preferred but not essential
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
