The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects from commencement through to completion.

The role will involve coordinating contractors and project teams, monitoring project schedules, budgets, and resources, and ensuring construction activities meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

The Construction Project Manager will work closely with clients, contractors, consultants, and other professionals to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Task & responsibilities Interpret architectural plans, drawings and technical specifications to determine project requirements. Develop and implement construction schedules and coordinate on-site activities to ensure productive project delivery. Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and machinery to meet construction timelines and operational requirements. Liaise with architects, engineers, technical specialists, tradespeople and other stakeholders to resolve construction issues.



Negotiate with property owners, developers and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed within the agreed budget and timeframe. Prepare and submit tenders, quotations and contract proposals for construction projects. Monitor construction progress and supervise subcontractors to ensure work meets required quality standards. Ensure compliance with building codes, legislation, safety regulations and project specifications. Coordinate the preparation and submission of building plans and documentation to relevant local authorities. Engage and manage specialist contractors and subcontractors for specific construction activities. Arrange inspections with local authorities and ensure that construction work meets the required standards. Qualification & experience Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in related field. At least 1 year of experience in a related position. Sound knowledge of Australian engineering standards, building regulations, and structural design principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
