Experience & Skillset Min. 1 year Experience with ArchiCAD Attention to detail and administrative skills Have a keen interest in the process of design & construction Excellent communicator both verbal and written Strong ability to take initiative A team player A love for architecture, interior design and sustainability Take great pride in the work you do Have great communication skills Have great organizational skills Be well presented Job Description 1.1 Identifies, through consultation, client’s requirements, approximate budget, timetable, and possible needs for future expansion. 1.2 Determines client’s preferences regarding materials, styles, colours, and other variables. 1.3 Attempts to identify collaboration client’s priorities in terms of needs vs. desires. 1.4 Assists clients in defining their priorities and vision by preparing preliminary sketches of options. 1.5 Prepare and presents designs, specifications, estimated costs, and proposed construction schedule. 1.6 Creates detailed plans integrating engineering, electrical and HVAC considerations; presents plans to clients for review and approval. 1.7 Modifies new and existing plans as required.



1.8 Negotiates with builders and advises on the procurement of buildings. 1.9 Prepare scale drawings and contract requirements and submits for bids. 1.10 Collaborates with clients to select and award construction contracts 1.11 Collaborates with head builder and clients to facilitate the building process to meet client’s specifications and You will also be responsible for ; Technical drawings Town planning applications Documentation of working drawings Liaising with external consultants The job description serves to illustrate the scope and responsibilities of the post and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties.
