About the role
You will primarily operate a Posi Track / Skid Steer, completing final trim, grading and detailed finishing works across a variety of civil construction projects. This role requires a high level of accuracy, with the ability to work to tight tolerances of 5–7mm and achieve precise levels and specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Operate Posi Track / Skid Steer machinery for final trim and finishing works.
- Prepare, grade and trim surfaces to required levels and specifications.
- Read and interpret civil construction plans and site levels.
- Use GPS machine guidance systems to achieve accurate results.
- Assist with general site preparation and earthmoving activities.
- Operate additional machinery, including excavators and rollers, when required.
- Work safely and collaboratively with supervisors and site teams. About you
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating mobile plant in civil construction, with 5–10 years preferred.
- Proven experience in final trim and precision finishing works.
- Strong Posi Track / Skid Steer operating skills.
- Ability to achieve tight tolerances of approximately 5–7mm.
- Hands-on experience with GPS machine guidance systems.
- Ability to read construction plans and understand levels, grading and site preparation.
- A solid commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver's licence.
- White Card (or willingness to obtain).
