About the role
As an Apprentice Lineworker, you will assist crews in the construction, maintenance and upgrade of electrical distribution networks. You will receive on-the-job training and support as you develop the practical skills and qualifications needed to build a career in the electricity supply industry.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the construction and maintenance of overhead powerlines
- Support the installation and replacement of electricity poles
- Learn conductor stringing, overhead line construction and associated techniques
- Assist with the installation of electrical distribution equipment
- Work alongside experienced crews on ASP1 and other power infrastructure projects
- Learn to safely use specialised plant and equipment
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and electrical safety requirements
- Travel to project sites across NSW as required About you

- A current driver's licence and previous construction or trade experience will be advantageous

- Completion of a Cert II in Electrotechnology
- Manual Driver’s License
