The Role

We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Support Services Workers to join our team in Cleaning and Laundry roles at our facility in Yackandandah, VIC. This is a Casual role with a wide range of availabilities to suit your lifestyle. These positions are essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the facility.

What you will do (Cleaning & Laundry):

- Maintaining legislated safety, quality, and hygiene standards
- Cleaning resident rooms,



bathrooms, and living areas
- Cleaning communal and dining areas
- Cleaning and sorting laundry
- Maintaining adequate supplies of toilet paper, soap, and other cleaning and hygiene supplies for resident use.
- Adhering to infection control principles, WHS requirements including the secure storage and use of chemicals and complete cleaning requirements according to facility schedules
- Completing required documentation and reporting
- Ad hoc support to the broader team as required

What you will bring

- Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting (desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Hold NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain - mandatory)
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes is highly regarded but not essential
