AllControls is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Fitter to join our team in Bayswater, VIC. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components. As an Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements, whilst contributing to the continued success and reputation of AllControls within the trades and services industry.

Key responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in accordance with relevant codes and standards
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to guide installation and repair work
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations to identify faults, defects, or areas requiring maintenance
- Test electrical systems and components using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions to restore functionality
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on projects
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients regarding project progress and technical matters
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimise equipment downtime and extend system lifespan
- This could also include some basic mechanical work building gas trains.

What we're looking for

- Experience in the electrical field.
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation practices
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documentation




- Experience with diagnostic and testing equipment commonly used in electrical work
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent safety awareness and commitment to following health and safety protocols
- Physical fitness and ability to work in varied environments and positions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to different job sites
- Familiarity with control systems and industrial electrical work (preferred)
