weave. is supporting a leading private credit fund to source a Senior Analyst / Associate to join their growing Investments team. This opportunity sits within a high-performing direct lending platform that provides bespoke senior and subordinated financing solutions to support corporate acquisitions, growth strategies, restructures and liquidity events. The role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle including origination, evaluation, execution and ongoing portfolio management, while working closely with an experienced investment team in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities
Investment Sourcing & Origination
- Identify and assess new lending opportunities through banks, management teams, advisers and broader industry networks.
- Engage actively across all stages of the investment process.
- Undertake independent credit analysis, detailed due diligence and market/sector research.
- Build and maintain financial models to inform investment decisions.
- Support investment papers, attend management presentations and collaborate with senior leaders through the evaluation phase.
- Present recommendations with a clear assessment of credit, legal and market risks.



Deal Execution & Portfolio Monitoring
- Lead selected transactions from diligence through closing, coordinating with internal teams and external advisers.
- Contribute to the negotiation of terms and oversee accurate legal documentation.
- Liaise with internal and external legal counsel throughout execution.
- Monitor portfolio investments, including reviews, waivers and amendments.
- Assist in quarterly valuation processes and investor reporting. Qualifications & Attributes
- 2+ years’ relevant experience in corporate finance, credit, investment banking, private credit or related fields.
- Robust financial modelling and credit assessment skills.
- Understanding of legal documentation and lending structures.
- Proactive, detail-driven and able to work both independently and within a small team.
- Adaptable across a range of investment types, with sound judgment and analytical rigor.
