About the role
Customer Service and Billing Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing all customer contract and billing activities within the organization, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient processing of invoices, payments, and related financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

- Generate and issue accurate invoices to clients in accordance with agreed terms and conditions and within the time frames required of the business
- Ensure that all billing data is correct and up-to-date, including the correct application of rates, discounts, and taxes
- Maintain and organize all billing records, ensuring all documents are stored securely and are easily accessible
- Enter contract data for current clients into ERP software, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and filed correctly




- Create required usage reports for customers for specialised billing
- Monitor aging accounts and follow up with clients on overdue payments, escalating unresolved issues to management as necessary
- Act as a point of contact for clients regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and disputes, providing professional and timely resolutions
- Work closely with the operations and service teams to ensure smooth billing operations and address issues promptly
- Ensure all billing processes comply with legal, tax, and industry regulations
- Continuously seek to improve processes for greater efficiency and accuracy About you
- Experience with Jim2 ERP or print equipment industry an advantage
