About the Opportunity: Appoint is partnering with a growing business to find a Senior Project Manager to lead construction projects and support the development of its project delivery team. The business operates across the construction and accommodation sectors, with projects including modular buildings and workforce accommodation. This role combines hands-on project delivery with the opportunity to improve how projects are delivered across the business . You’ll take ownership of your own projects, including those with greater size, value, risk and complexity, while providing oversight and support to a Project Manager. Alongside delivery, you’ll help develop and strengthen the frameworks, processes and controls needed to support the business’s current projects and future growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of larger and more complex projects from pre-construction handover through construction, commissioning, practical completion and close-out.
- Develop and manage project programs, budgets and resource plans, monitoring progress, costs, forecasts and risks throughout delivery.
- Oversee procurement, contracts, variations and claims,



maintaining a clear view of each project’s commercial performance.
- Coordinate project teams, consultants and subcontractors across building installation, civil works and services.
- Provide oversight and support to a Project Manager, reviewing progress, assisting with challenges and promoting consistent delivery practices.
- Strengthen project delivery frameworks and controls, including planning, handovers, cost reporting and close-out.
- Maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders, while overseeing safety, quality and project risks. What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated experience managing substantial commercial construction projects through to completion, with accountability for delivery and commercial outcomes.
- Robust capability across programming, cost control, forecasting, procurement and contract administration.
- Experience leading or supporting project delivery teams and managing clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
- Experience developing or improving project frameworks, systems or processes to support consistent delivery.
- A hands-on, practical approach and the ability to balance project responsibilities with broader team leadership.
