About us
Halcyon House is a boutique beachfront hotel on the Tweed Coast. It is home to our restaurant Paper Daisy and has been recognised with a Michelin Key. We're known for thoughtful design, warm and personal service, and a sense of place that brings guests back year after year. We're looking for a Marketing Manager to join us for 12 months while our current manager is on maternity leave. You'll step into a brand with real momentum and help keep it moving. The role You'll lead marketing across the hotel, spa and Paper Daisy and our wider guest experiences. You'll work closely with the General Manager, the Revenue and Reservations teams and our culinary team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and running campaigns that increase direct bookings, dining covers and event enquiries
- Creating and managing Meta Ads and paid social campaigns
- Looking after the brand across the website, social media, EDMs and print, and keeping everything consistent and on-brand
- Working closely with our PR agency on media visits, famils and brand opportunities
- Developing partnerships and collaborations with aligned brands, along with other business development opportunities
- Working with Sales and Revenue on packages, offers and plans for need periods




- Tracking results across channels and reporting on them, so budget goes where it performs best
- Managing the marketing calendar, budget, and external suppliers and creatives About you
- 3+ years' marketing experience, ideally in luxury hospitality, travel or premium lifestyle brands
- A sales background is highly regarded. You understand the link between marketing activity and revenue, and you're comfortable working with trade, wholesale and corporate channels.
- Strong writing skills and a good eye for images and design
- Confident with digital channels such as social, email platforms, Google Analytics and paid media
- Organised and self-directed, able to get up to speed quickly and deliver within a fixed term
- Team-oriented, calm under pressure and happy to be hands-on
