Stubbs Constructions is a family owned, Burnie based construction company working state wide in the commercial, civil, industrial, residential and educational construction sectors. We are currently seeking candidates for a Joiner to work, as a sole joiner, in our small workshop. Tasks & Responsibilities
- Experience in reading drawings including attention to detail
- Cutting, assembly & setting up of cabinets as required
- Select and install hardware
- Perform on-site installation
- Work alongside carpenters in quieter times
- Setting up and maintaining machinery and hand tools
- Working with veneer, laminates, solid timber etc
- Minimum 40 hours/week with a rostered day off once per month
- Producing high quality joinery




- Customer service skills when meeting clients and working onsite The successful candidate should have skills/attributes in the following:
- Experience in cabinet manufacturing, assembling and installation
- Must be able to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Adhere to timeframes to meet work schedules
- Have their own basic tools
- Positive communication skills, friendly and approachable
- Good work ethics; punctual, reliable and honest.
- Must have a Construction Industry White Card
