About the Role
An exciting prospect exists for an experienced production professional to join our manufacturing operations as Deputy Production Manager. Working closely with our current Production Manager, you will be developed across all aspects of production leadership and operations, with the long-term objective of progressing into the Production Manager position as part of our succession plan. This is an exciting time to join UBEECO as we strengthen our LEAN manufacturing practices and continue to scale production. Under the mentorship of the Production Manager, you will:
- Lead, coach and motivate a team to achieve high levels of engagement and performance
- Champion safety, quality and efficiency across all production activities
- Apply Lean methodology to identify improvement opportunities and streamline processes
- Adapt your leadership style to support change, drive results and deliver sustainable outcomes
- Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and enhance output

- Minimum 2+ years in a production, manufacturing or similar leadership role
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential; timber industry experience is highly desirable
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify operational opportunities
