Job description
Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced sonographers, to join the Ultrasound team at Northern Imaging Victoria in a part time role (40 hours per fortnight). Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through our six main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg. Ultrasound Services are provided through the following main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Craigieburn and Kilmore District Hospital.

About the Role
This role requires a commitment to high quality work and patient care, in a dynamic and growing department dealing with a complex caseload across multiple sites.



There will be the chance to upskill as necessary to the right candidate. To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in Ultrasound within a Medical Imaging department
- Proven competency across multiple Ultrasound imaging areas
- including but not limited to General, MSK, O&G;, Breast, Paediatrics, Vascular
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities either individually or as part of a team particularly at times of high clinical demand
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and electronic communication skills
- Bachelor Medical Sonography or post graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasonography
- Current registration with Australian Sonographer Accreditation registry (ASAR) and CPD enrolment Next Steps . . .
