Position: Casual Educator / Trainee Status: Casual – relief position Hourly rate: $37.58 per hour (inclusive of Worker Retention Payment and 25% casual loading), plus superannuation

Paraburdoo, WA 6754 About the service One Tree Paraburdoo Children's Service is a stunning, purpose-built long day care centre offering 80 places for children aged 0–5 years, operating from 6.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. The service also provides Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) for primary school-aged children. Located in the heart of the Pilbara, Paraburdoo is renowned for its beautiful scenery, diverse wildlife and amazing panoramic views from Mount Nameless (Jarndunmunha). We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Casual Educator / Trainee to join our close-knit team. You don't need years of experience or formal qualifications to get started. If you're reliable, caring and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you Selection criteria
- A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their learning and development
- Willingness to undertake a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, where applicable
- Ability to build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A friendly, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Willingness to learn and follow service policies and procedures
- Commitment to child safety and providing a nurturing, inclusive workplace
- Flexibility to work casual shifts based on service needs Requirements
- Eligible to work in Australia
- No formal early childhood qualification required for eligible unqualified applicants
- Valid WA Working with Children Check clearance
- Current National Police Clearance certificate (less than 6 months old)
