Role Overview

Elevate is seeking an experienced Associate Director – eDDR (Document Review) to join our growing team in Australia. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the continued expansion of Elevate’s eDiscovery, Data Breach, and Document Review practice. Working closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and delivery teams, you will lead complex document review and data breach engagements, provide strategic guidance on review methodologies and technology solutions, and ensure the successful execution of high-quality review services.

This role offers the chance to combine operational leadership, client advisory, team development, and business growth initiatives while leveraging advanced eDiscovery technologies, AI, and Technology Assisted Review (TAR) solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage large-scale document review and data breach projects from planning through delivery.
- Partner with clients, sales, and delivery teams to expand document review service offerings.
- Advise clients on document review strategies, discovery processes, AI-enabled review methodologies, and review technologies.
- Build, mentor, and manage review teams, providing training on privilege, redactions, substantive reviews, and review platforms.
- Oversee project governance, reporting, quality assurance, budgeting, billing, and stakeholder communications.
- Support business development activities, including RFP/RFX responses, client presentations, and sales meetings.
- Collaborate with internal eDiscovery teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful project execution.
- Resolve operational issues and exceptions while maintaining defensible and documented review processes.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality across all deliverables.

About You

- A minimum of 12+ years of post-qualification experience in document review, eDiscovery, and data breach matters.
- Strong expertise in AI, TAR, and eDiscovery platforms.




- Proven experience leading large-scale review teams and complex projects.
- Strong client management, stakeholder engagement, and business development skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal technology tools.

· Relevant AI, advanced eDiscovery, or data breach certifications are advantageous.
