Position Summary:
The role is responsible for the architecture, design, governance, and operational excellence of enterprise cloud platforms. This role partners with application teams, infrastructure teams, security organizations, and product stakeholders to design scalable, secure, resilient, and automated cloud solutions across AWS and Azure environments.
Mandatory Skills:

- AWS and/or Azure architecture
- Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/Open Shift)
- Terraform or Infrastructure as Code platforms
- CI/CD (Harness, Git Hub Enterprise, Jenkins, etc.)
- Linux administration
- Cloud networking and security
- Observability tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- SRE practices, SLIs/SLOs, incident management
- Enterprise architecture and governance

Roles And Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture & Design

- Define target-state cloud architectures and reference patterns.
- Design highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Lead adoption of cloud-native technologies and modernization initiatives.




- Review application architectures for compliance with enterprise standards.

Platform Engineering
- Architect and maintain Kubernetes platforms (EKS/AKS).
- Develop reusable infrastructure patterns using Infrastructure as Code.
- Establish platform standards, governance controls, and operational guardrails.
- Drive platform automation and self-service capabilities.

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Define reliability, availability, and performance objectives.
- Lead proactive resiliency and capacity planning activities.
- Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and incident response capabilities.
- Conduct operational readiness reviews and production support guidance.

CI/CD & Dev Ops
- Design and govern CI/CD solutions using Harness, Git Hub Enterprise, Artifactory, and related tooling.
- Define deployment standards and release automation strategies.
- Enable secure software delivery pipelines.
- Partner with development teams to improve deployment reliability and velocity.

Resilience Engineering
- Define testing standards for failure scenarios and recovery validation.
- Develop reliability dashboards and governance processes.

Cloud Security & Compliance
- Collaborate with security teams on cloud security controls.




- Support implementation of workload protection and compliance requirements.
- Evaluate security tooling and cloud-native security capabilities.
- Ensure architecture alignment with enterprise risk and audit requirements.

Technical Leadership
- Provide architecture guidance to engineering and operations teams.
- Mentor engineers and architects.
- Lead technical reviews and design workshops.
- Drive strategic cloud transformation initiatives.

Leadership Expectations
- Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy.
- Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Balance innovation, risk, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Act as a technical escalation point for critical platform issues.

Qualifications/Certifications:
Preferred Experience

- Large-scale enterprise cloud environments
- Financial services or regulated industry experience
- Multi-cloud architecture
- IAM, RBAC role understanding
- Platform engineering and developer enablement
- Cloud security and compliance frameworks

Salary Range: >$100,000
