About the role
The Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator leads the warehouse team day to day so that receiving, storage, picking and dispatch are accurate, on time, cost-effective and safe. The role plans labour and workload, coordinates international containers and local deliveries, controls inventory accuracy, and drives a robust safety culture. The coordinator is the main link between the warehouse and customer service, purchasing and logistics, freight forwarders and carriers, and works hands-on alongside the team when volumes require.

Key responsibilities

- Roster and allocate staff to receiving, picking and dispatch; run daily start-of-shift briefings
- Plan daily and weekly workload from order volumes, inbound schedules and dispatch cut-offs
- Prioritise urgent orders, monitor progress through the day, and escalate risks to service or cost early
- Booking deliveries through various transport and logistics providers platforms.
- Manage daily dispatch, ensuring timely collection, loading, transit and delivery of customer orders.
- Coordinate container bookings with freight forwarders and customs brokers; confirm customs and biosecurity release before unloading




- Ensuring all inbound and outbounds from and to warehouse are fully documented and recorded.
- Run the cycle count program and coordinate stocktakes; investigate variances and approve adjustments within delegation
- Lead safety on the floor: enforce the traffic management plan, PPE and safe work procedures
- Coach, train and induct team members; arrange forklift verification of competency (VOC) and keep training records current
- Keep ERP transactions accurate and timely; produce the weekly warehouse KPI report
- Manage casual and labour-hire staff; About you
- At least 3 years of warehouse experience, including 1+ year supervising a team
- Current high-risk work licence — forklift (LF)
- Experience managing container receiving and import documentation
- Logistics platforms and intermediate Excel
- Working knowledge of WHS duties and Chain of Responsibility
- Proven ability to plan, prioritise and hit dispatch cut-offs
- Clear communication and practical leadership skills
- Right to work in Australia
