About the role
... We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sports Coach to join our Team on a permanent Full-Time basis starting in Term 1, 2027 The Sports Coach leads and develops the sporting program at Calvary Christian College, using sport as a platform to support students' physical, personal, and spiritual growth within a Christ-centred environment. With the main focus on Years 3-8,



the Sports Coach coordinates sporting opportunities, provides quality coaching with an emphasis on basketball and netball, and oversees Primary College Sport. *For a full position description please click here.* Why choose Calvary Christian College? To be successful in this role, you will hold either current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration or a current Working with Children (Paid Blue Card), along with relevant qualifications in sport, coaching, education, ministry, chaplaincy, youth work, or a related field. You will also demonstrate:
- Proven experience in sports coaching and/or coordinating sporting programs.
- Experience working effectively with children and young people in educational, sporting, or community settings.
- Coaching accreditation in basketball or netball, or a willingness to obtain accreditation.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across the College community.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage training sessions, competitions, and sporting events.
- A willingness to support our Christian mission
