Working within a dynamic Program Management Office environment, you'll provide governance oversight, assurance coordination and stakeholder support across a diverse range of infrastructure projects. About the Role
As the Senior Project Officer, you'll work closely with Project Managers, Program Controls teams and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are progressing through governance frameworks effectively and meeting required quality standards.

Key responsibilities
include:
- Coordinating project governance and assurance activities across a portfolio of projects
- Conducting project assurance and pre-gate reviews to identify risks, issues and compliance gaps
- Supporting project teams through governance and stage-gate processes
- Reviewing governance submissions, reports and project documentation to ensure quality and compliance
- Preparing governance meeting packs, agendas, reports, presentations and minutes




- Monitoring project governance requirements and reporting on compliance outcomes
- Building strong relationships with project stakeholders to support successful project delivery
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of governance frameworks, processes and tools ## About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Experience working in a project governance, PMO, project controls or assurance environment
- Strong understanding of project management principles, governance frameworks and assurance processes
- Experience identifying project risks, gaps and compliance issues
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Strong report writing, documentation and presentation capabilities
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work across competing deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes ## Highly Regarded
- Experience supporting large infrastructure, construction or capital delivery projects
- Previous experience in a Project Officer, Project Administrator, Contract Administrator or PMO role
- Experience providing secretariat support to governance boards, steering committees or project forums
