We are seeking experienced Sonographers for locum placements across Tropical Far North Queensland. A range of locations, start dates and contract lengths are on offer, including remote sites such as Weipa, Cooktown and Thursday Island. You can pick the placement that fits your availability. Travel and accommodation are included, so you can focus on your work and enjoy one of Australia's most spectacular regions.
- Perform general and obstetric ultrasound across hospital and remote settings
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in line with protocols and ALARA principles
- Manage your own worklist, including urgent cases
- Provide culturally safe, patient-centred care
- Work collaboratively with hospital medical and nursing staff
- Maintain accurate records and documentation

About You:
- ASAR accredited Sonographer
- Strong general and obstetric ultrasound skills
- Confident working independently in remote settings
- Able to meet Queensland Health credentialing requirements
- National Police Clearance
- Eligible to work in Australia
