Seven Hills Plaza Medical Centre is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated AHPRA Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive general practice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Practice Nurse seeking varied clinical work, a supportive team and a healthy work-life balance. Our established practice offers a fully equipped treatment room, onsite pathology and a patient-focused working setting.
Key responsibilities
- Childhood and adult immunisations, including travel vaccinations
- Wound care, dressings and assistance with minor procedures
- Chronic disease management, health assessments and care planning
- Patient triage, clinical assessments and ECGs
- Blood collection and pathology specimen handling
- Preventive health, patient education and health promotion
- Accurate clinical documentation and record keeping
- Vaccine storage, cold-chain monitoring and compliance
- Clinical stock management,
ordering and treatment room readiness
- Infection prevention, control procedures and accreditation support
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
- Previous General Practice nursing experience (essential)
- Excellent clinical skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills
- Reliable, proactive and confident in a busy practice
- Best Practice software knowledge (desirable, not essential)
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Australian work rights (required); at least one year of RN experience preferred
