As a Rollforming Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing accurate, high-quality steel components that directly impact build quality on site. You’ll be hands-on, safety-focused, quality-driven, and reliable — working closely with the Rollforming Supervisor and wider production team to keep output flowing.

Key Responsibilities

- Support roll-forming operations with production planning and daily output tracking

- Prepare and maintain machines

- Review drawings/specifications and assist with QA checks and tolerances

- Record production data (output, downtime, scrap, defects) and keep reporting up to date

- Assist with basic troubleshooting and maintenance reporting to minimise downtime

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process standardisation

- Operate rollforming machinery to produce steel components to specification

- Conduct pre-start checks, monitor machine performance, and escalate issues early





- Maintain a clean, organised work area (5S mindset) and follow safe work procedures

- Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, logistics, and supervision teams

Required Experience & Skills

- Experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial production

- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial machinery

- Experience with Hayes Purlin Mill & Hayes Cladding Mill highly regarded

- Experience with sheet metal, steel processing, press lines, CNC, or roll-forming equipment (direct or closely related)

- Ability to read basic technical drawings and specifications

- Strong attention to detail and quality focus

- Good written and spoken English

- Comfortable working with SOPs, checklists, and production KPIs

The Minimum Requirements

- Ability to pass a functional pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen

- Hold a current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
