The Role

Ilim College is seeking a passionate, dedicated and suitably qualified Primary Classroom Teacher to join our Glenroy Primary Campus, commencing 27 January 2027.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a Grade 3 class in 2027, with teaching allocations in subsequent years to be determined based on the operational and educational needs of the College.

This is a full-time replacement position, working Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be expected to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment that supports students' academic, social, emotional and spiritual development.

What You Will Bring to the Role

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Relevant teaching qualifications and current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.

- Sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and effective primary teaching practices.

- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.

- The ability to plan,



deliver and assess engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

- A commitment to supporting the Islamic ethos, values and educational philosophy of Ilim College.

- A collaborative approach to teaching and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
