Respond Rehabilita tion and Health provides individualised exercise rehabilitation across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter Region and Central Coast.
We delive r service s across aged care, Medicare, Workers Compensation and NDIS, supporting individuals with psychological injuries, chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, chronic disease and age-related functional limitations.
Our focus is on ev idence-based exercise interventions that improve functional capacity, confidence and long-term independence.
The Oppor tunityWe are of fering a flexible part-time position, with a pathway towards full time employment as the caseload develops.
The role combines mobile Exercise Physiology services with a 1-2 days per fortnight dedicated clinic room day.
The posit ion offer s clinical variety, autonomy and opportunities for long-term career progression.
The role will invo lve:
• Deliver ing indiv idualised exercise rehabilitation programs in community settings.
• Providing Medica re-funded Exercise Physiology consultations from a dedicated clinic room.




• Managing a varie d clinical caseload across aged care, Medicare, Workers Compensation and NDIS.
• Working collabor atively with GPs, psychologists, rehabilitation consultants, aged-care providers and other healthcare professionals.
• Conducting asses sments, monitoring outcomes and preparing clinical reports.
• Supporting clien ts throughout their rehabilitation.
Career De velopment and LeadershipAs Respon d Rehabil itation and Health expands, there is potential for the right person to transition into a full-time position and progress into clinical leadership.
Future re sponsibil ities may include mentoring clinicians, overseeing clinical quality and supporting service delivery.

About You
• ESSA-a ccredited Exercise Physiologist.
• Strong communica tion and clinical reasoning skills.
• Motivated, relia ble and comfortable working independently.
• Interest in occu pational rehabilitation, aged care, mental health and chronic disease management.
• Current driver’s licenceExperienc e in occu pational rehabilitation is desirable, although we also welcome applicants looking to develop their skills in this area.
