• Be a part of an exciting time at KCGM Fimiston and play a key role within the Processing Operations space during our plant expansion We are looking for an experienced residential Process Technician to join our KCGM Fimiston Operation. Reporting to Processing Supervisor you will operate all sections of the processing plant which include, Crushing, Grinding, Gravity Separation, Floatation, Leaching, Elution and Paste Plant in accordance with specified parameters to optimise gold production/ recovery. This also includes basic maintenance of operational equipment within the Processing Department. What you can look forward to:
• Hands on position with room for career progression. Seamlessly coordinate across shifts to share critical production info, maintaining and sampling from large-scale plant equipment in demanding conditions. Communicate and act on daily instructions from the crew leader and liaise with maintenance to keep operations running efficiently and safely.
• Proactively identify and complete operational checks, report anomalies, uphold strict health and safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement while protecting people, equipment, and the environment.
• Identify, report on and rectify risks, associated with exposure to large industrial equipment, electrical parts, chemicals, cold, heat, dust, lubricants, noise, weather, confined spaces and heights.
• Proactive involvement with continuous improvement processes. Active participation in all communication and awareness systems. Manage all activities in a manner that prevents pollution and minimises damage to the natural environment. Where you’ll add value:




• Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience at a Processing Plant within the mining industry
• Sound knowledge in gold processing with mechanical altitude
• Able to work as part of a team and foster team building relationships
• Ability to work unsupervised and also train and transfer knowledge in alignment with the department training matrix
• Work with attention to detail and have strong communication skills
• Keen to learn attitude and asks for help
• Basic Computer literacy – Microsoft Office and Excel

Qualifications:
• Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence
• Construction Card (White Card) Desired

Qualifications:
• National Police Clearance within 12 months
• High Risk Work Licence – Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Tester, Forklift Licence (LF), Dogging, Rigging (Desirable) and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Our people, your
