About the role
. We know how important real world training and experience is to broaden your skills, so we're looking for a graduate accountant who is ready to get hands on training. Your development is important to us, so you'll have a mentor from day one and join a fantastic team of experts you can learn from.
• Has recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce / Accounting or similar (those with double degrees are encouraged to apply)
• Is willing to commence either the Chartered Accounting (CA) program or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) program.

• You're eager to get hands on experience in a growing firm,

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals and small to medium businesses.
• Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other tax compliance documents.
• Supporting the team with client queries and communication,



gradually building your confidence in dealing directly with clients.
• Gaining exposure to different business and trading structures, and learning how they work.
• Assisting with basic tax research and ATO enquiries under the guidance of senior team members.
• Learning the fundamentals of business budgeting, cash flow management and financial reporting.
• Supporting the team with financial analysis and business benchmarking.
• Working with accounting software such as Xero and MYOB to develop your technical skills.
• Getting involved in a range of other accounting tasks and projects as you build your knowledge and experience. Great, we'd love to hear from you.
