Moreton Hospitality is looking for a Marketing & Events Executive to join our Broadbeach precinct, 3 days per week. It's a hands-on role supporting events, social media content and day-to-day marketing admin across our venues: Cora Restaurant & Bar, The Beach Hotel and The Club House.

About the Venue

Our newly redeveloped Broadbeach precinct is home to some of the Gold Coast's most exciting venues.

The Beach Hotel brings a fresh, elevated take on the local pub experience, featuring a stunning new beer garden, luxury gaming lounge, and state-of-the-art sports bar with wall-to-wall screens.

Cora Restaurant & Bar delivers an upmarket bistro experience, blending modern Australian flavours with creative cocktails and attentive, genuine service. It's the perfect balance of sophistication and warmth, and a true celebration of outstanding food, flavour and atmosphere.

The Club House is our dedicated events and private dining space, offering corporate and social guests a stylish, versatile setting for their most important occasions.

About the Opportunity

As our Marketing & Events Executive, you'll work closely with the Broadbeach team and Head Office to coordinate events, keep our socials active and engaging, and keep marketing and event admin running smoothly. You'll report to our Sales and Marketing Director.

Events and activations

- Help plan, coordinate and deliver events and activations, from prep through to post-event follow-up.

- Coordinate event logistics, suppliers,



materials and internal communications.

- Support event promotion and lend a hand with on-site setup and delivery.

- Keep event schedules, checklists and records up to date.

Social media and content

- Capture engaging photo and video content showcasing our events, menus and venue experiences.

- Edit short-form videos and create content suited to each platform.

- Write captions, schedule and publish posts in line with the marketing calendar and brand guidelines.

- Monitor engagement and help report on content performance.

- Keep content files and digital assets organised and easy to find.

- Train and support venue team members to capture great content.

Admin and financial support

- Assist with menu updates, proofreading, formatting and coordinating print or digital publication.

- Order marketing materials, event supplies and other items as needed.

- Check invoices and submit them for approval and payment.

- Track marketing and event spend against agreed budgets.

- Keep spreadsheets, supplier details and admin records accurate.

This is a part-time role, 3 days per week, based onsite in Broadbeach. Working days will be agreed with the successful candidate,



with some flexibility needed to support scheduled events and content capture.

What We're Looking For

- Experience in marketing, events, social media, hospitality or a related field.

- Confidence capturing photos and videos, with basic to intermediate video editing skills.

- Familiarity with social media publishing and scheduling tools.

- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities.

- Clear written and verbal communication skills.

- Confidence using spreadsheets and handling basic financial admin.

- A proactive, collaborative approach and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.

- Hospitality experience is a bonus, particularly in a venue or customer-facing environment.
