About the Role

We are seeking a Sonographer to join our Darwin team for up to 0.4 FTE (approximately 2 days per week).

This role will focus on delivering high-quality obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound services to both Repromed patients and the wider Darwin community.

You will work closely with our friendly and experienced Darwin fertility team and be well supported by our established ultrasound team in Adelaide, including experienced sonographers and specialist doctors.

While you will be the primary sonographer based in Darwin, you will remain closely connected to the broader Repromed ultrasound team, with ongoing clinical guidance, collaboration and professional support.

Key responsibilities include:

- Performing high-quality obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound examinations
- Providing compassionate, patient-centred care




- Working within established clinical protocols and quality standards
- Communicating effectively with patients, referring doctors, specialists and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Working collaboratively with the Darwin fertility team and Adelaide ultrasound team
- Supporting the ongoing development and growth of ultrasound services in Darwin

About You

You are a motivated and compassionate sonographer who understands the important role ultrasound plays in women's healthcare. You enjoy working collaboratively, take pride in delivering high-quality examinations and are passionate about providing a positive patient experience.

Ideally, you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in a health science or related discipline
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
- Current ASAR accreditation
- Experience in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and a commitment to clinical excellence
- A proactive, flexible and collaborative approach
- Current driver's licence
- Satisfactory National Police Certificate

Experience in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound is highly desirable. However, we also welcome applications from qualified sonographers with a strong general ultrasound background who are enthusiastic about developing their skills in women's imaging.
