Straightload Transport is looking for a reliable, motivated and organised person to join our busy transport operations team on the afternoon shift.
This is a casual position starting at 3:00pm Monday to Friday, with finishing times varying depending on daily operational requirements.
You will play an important role in supporting our operations team, ensuring paperwork is prepared accurately and drivers have the documentation they need to complete their jobs.
No previous transport experience is necessary — we're happy to train the right person who has a positive attitude and is willing to learn!
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing transport manifests, run sheets and driver paperwork.
- Assisting the operations team with daily administrative tasks.
- Preparing delivery and collection documentation.
- Entering and updating job details in our transport systems.
- Processing consignment notes and proof of deliveries (PODs).
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails.
- Assisting with customer and driver enquiries.
- General data entry, filing and office administration.
- Providing additional support to the operations team as required.

- Flexible with finishing times.
Transport or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential. Full training will be provided.
