About the Role

The Head of Individual Giving is responsible for the strategic development and oversight of appeals, regular giving, major gifts, and bequests in order to grow income and help PCFA achieve its vision.

What you'll do as Head of Individual Giving:

- Devise a strategic plan to achieve fundraising goals within budget to include Appeals, Acquisition, Regular Giving & Gifts in Wills

- Manage the development and implementation of Individual Giving strategies to grow funding for the organisation’s mission.

- Oversee the management and coordination of printed and digital appeals.

- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing & Community Events on database management strategies and have oversight over data outputs, systems and processes.

- Build effective systems and processes to drive income growth by enhancing the supporter journey.

- Lead the development of a best-practice approach to acquisition and retention within the Individual Giving portfolio, finding creative ways to incentivise engagement and donations.

- Prepare and manage the budget for Individual Giving activities, including negotiations with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and service providers.

- Manage key operational deliverables associated with Individual Giving strategies, such as performance targets, database and platform interoperability,



and donor care strategies

What you'll need:

- Five years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the not-for-profit sector.

- Proven experience in Direct Marketing, digital and acquisition.

- Demonstrated experience in database management (Raiser’s Edge preferred), Excel and reporting tools; and working with complex data sets to ensure quality data and gain insights.

- A minimum of three years managing a team.

- Data and analytical skills with ability to understand complex data sets, analysis and segmentation

- Demonstrated financial management skills with proven experience managing budgets and developing cases for support for activities.

- Project management skills and ability to deliver to timelines. A proven track record in strategy development to inspire lead generation, acquisition, and retention of donors
