Intertek Minerals is seeking a WA-licensed Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our Maintenance team at our Maddington facility.

You'll work across a busy mineral processing environment, carrying out preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, diagnosing electrical faults and contributing to equipment upgrades and reliability improvements.

This is a permanent, Monday-to-Friday role offering varied, hands-on work and the opportunity to continue developing your technical skills.

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll help keep our Maddington plant and equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance

- Diagnosing electrical faults and identifying practical, safe solutions

- Responding to equipment breakdowns and helping minimise downtime

- Installing, testing and commissioning electrical equipment

- Supporting plant modifications, upgrades and reliability improvements

- Fault finding across motors, controls and industrial electrical systems

- Reading, interpreting and updating electrical drawings and technical documentation





- Working collaboratively with operations and the wider maintenance team

- Participating in a shared after-hours call-out roster when required

What You'll Need

- A current WA Electrician's Licence

- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Hands-on experience maintaining, repairing or troubleshooting plant and equipment

- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, processing, mining, fixed-plant or similar environment

- The ability to safely test, isolate and diagnose electrical equipment

- The ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team

Experience We'd Value

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage, but you don't need to tick every box:

- PLC-controlled plant and equipment

- PLC and control-circuit fault finding

- Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)

- Motors and motor control

- MCCs and control panels

- Pneumatic or hydraulic systems
