Crusher Fitter | Metso Mobile Crushing & Screening | FIFO WA | Up to $90/hr

Ready Resources is seeking experienced Mobile Crushing & Screening Fitters to support major crushing operations across Western Australia. This role is ideally suited to Mechanical Fitters, Plant Fitters and Heavy Diesel Fitters with solid experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing mobile crushing and screening equipment, particularly Metso crushing plants.

The Role -Keep the Crushers Running!

You'll be part of a skilled maintenance team responsible for keeping mobile crushing and screening equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently.
Your day-to-day will include:

- Performing planned maintenance, inspections and servicing
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out breakdown repairs
- Maintaining and rebuilding mobile crushers and screens
- Completing conveyor, belt, feeder and component repairs
- Troubleshooting hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Replacing worn components and completing mechanical rebuilds
- Supporting shutdowns, installations and equipment upgrades
- Identifying potential failures and improving equipment reliability
- Maintaining high safety and workmanship standards on site





We're particularly interested in fitters with experience on Metso mobile crushing and screening equipment, including:

- Metso Lokotrack LT106 and LT120 jaw crushers
- Metso Lokotrack LT1213S impact crushers
- Metso Lokotrack LT220D and LT300HP units
- Metso Lokotrack ST2.8, ST3.8 and ST4.8 mobile screens
- Mobile conveyors, stackers and feed systems

Experience with McCloskey, Finlay or other mobile crushing and screening brands is also highly regarded.

What You Need

Essential:

- Australian-recognized mechanical trade qualification or equivalent
- Proven hands-on mobile crusher and screening equipment experience
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with planned maintenance, breakdowns and shutdowns
- Commitment to safety and the ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to work in a FIFO mining or resources environment

Highly Desirable Tickets & Experience:

- Metso, McCloskey or Finlay equipment experience
- Fixed-plant and conveyor maintenance experience
- Heavy Diesel trade qualification
- Mining or resources industry experience
- Forklift (LF)
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license
- Other relevant high-risk work licenses and site tickets
