About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and guest-focused part- or full-time Receptionist to join our team at BIG4 Middleton Beach Holiday Park in Albany, Western Australia. As a Receptionist - Guest Services, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our valued guests and ensuring the smooth running of our holiday park operations.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival, checking them in and out efficiently

- Responding to guest inquiries and addressing any concerns in a friendly and professional manner

- Handling bookings, reservations and general administrative tasks

- Upselling and promote park and Albany

- Providing information about the holiday park's facilities, activities and local attractions

- Assisting with the coordination of housekeeping and maintenance tasks as required

- Promoting the park's products and services to enhance the guest experience

- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception, office, laundry and shop area

- Some laundry duties

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a hotel, resort or holiday park setting

- Minimum of 1-2 years customer service experience required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with guests of all ages and backgrounds

- Australian work rights are required for this position

- Outstanding ability to sell and promote

- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities to handle various tasks and queries simultaneously





- Excellent computer literacy and office skills and proficiency in using booking software

- Training will be provided on booking software systems

- A positive, friendly and helpful attitude with a genuine passion for providing exceptional guest experiences

- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

- Honesty, reliability, integrity and a commitment to responsibilities

- Ability to supervise, work under supervision, unsupervised and as part of a team
