An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced AFSL compliance professional to join a market leading financial services business in Brisbane.

Operating within a sophisticated wholesale financial services environment, the business has an established market presence, ambitious growth plans and a leadership team committed to maintaining a strong risk and compliance culture.

Working closely with senior leadership, this position will play an important role in overseeing the organisation's Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) obligations, ensuring regulatory requirements are effectively monitored, managed and embedded across the business.

The Opportunity
This is a broad, hands-on compliance role offering genuine ownership and exposure to a range of wholesale financial services activities. The position will have particular involvement in regulatory obligations associated with securitisation, custody arrangements, trust management, fund administration and related financial products.

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organisation's AFSL compliance framework, including ongoing compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, obligations management and oversight of relevant licence conditions.

Importantly, you'll work closely with stakeholders across finance, treasury, operations and risk, providing practical regulatory guidance and helping ensure compliance requirements support the organisation's continued growth.

About You




We are looking for an experienced compliance professional who combines strong technical knowledge of Australian financial services regulation with a practical, commercially minded approach.

You will ideally bring demonstrated experience working with AFSL obligations, including compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, licence conditions and the development or maintenance of compliance frameworks.

Candidates from institutional financial services, fund administration, corporate trustee businesses or specialist AFSL compliance advisory environments are encouraged to apply. Experience within wholesale financial services will be particularly well suited.

While direct exposure to every aspect of these activities is not essential, the ability to interpret regulatory requirements, independently manage compliance responsibilities and engage confidently with senior stakeholders will be important.
