Receptionist / Clinic Coordinator – Medicolegal

Melbourne CBD | Regular Travel to Geelong for Clinic Support

- Busy, varied role where no two days are quite the same.
- Great locations – Both clinics are within 150 metres of train stations.
- Fantastic team culture – Join a growing national business with a supportive, down-to-earth team.

About RediMed

RediMed is a leading national healthcare provider delivering multidisciplinary health solutions, including occupational health, injury treatment and medicolegal services.

Our dedicated medicolegal division, RediMedicoLegal (RML), coordinates independent medical assessments and expert reports for insurers, employers, legal firms and other organisations across Australia.

We're looking for a friendly, confident and highly organised Receptionist / Clinic Coordinator to join our Melbourne team.

About the Role

We're looking for someone who enjoys being busy, meeting people and taking ownership of their day.

You'll be the friendly face of our clinic, keeping appointments running smoothly, supporting our medical specialists and ensuring examinees feel welcome and comfortable.

It's a varied, hands-on role where you'll juggle competing priorities, solve problems and work closely with a great team. While you'll have plenty of support, you'll also need to be confident running front of house independently, managing day-to-day clinic activities and thinking on your feet.

The position is primarily based in Melbourne CBD, with regular travel to our Geelong clinic required (up to once per week/fortnight). Both clinics are conveniently located within 150 metres of train stations,

so a driver's licence isn't required.

What You'll Be Doing

- Welcome and check in examinees, medical specialists and visitors, providing a friendly and professional experience.
- Manage reception and front-of-house operations, ensuring appointments run smoothly.
- Coordinate consultation rooms, appointment paperwork and specialist requirements.
- Prepare medical and claim documentation, including collating, organising and bookmarking PDF files.
- Respond to phone calls, emails and general enquiries.
- Liaise with specialists and internal teams to resolve appointment requirements and day-to-day issues.
- Support examinees who may be anxious or distressed, maintaining a calm and professional approach.
- Keep clinic facilities organised, well-stocked and ready for use, including when supporting our Geelong clinic.

About You

You're someone who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, notices the little details and doesn't need someone looking over your shoulder to get things done.

You're friendly, approachable and confident dealing with people from all walks of life. You enjoy a busy environment, learn new systems quickly and are comfortable taking responsibility for your work.

You'll bring:

- Previous experience in reception,

administration or a customer-facing coordination role.
- Confidence working autonomously and taking ownership of front-of-house operations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, including managing challenging or sensitive situations.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Good computer skills, including confidence working with electronic documentation and learning new systems.
- A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving and a willingness to help wherever needed.
- A positive attitude, a sense of humour and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
- Willingness to travel to Geelong up to once per week.

Experience in medical reception, specialist practices, medicolegal services, workers compensation or occupational health would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.

Why Join RediMed?

We're a growing national business with a fantastic team and a culture we're proud of.

We work hard, support one another and enjoy a good laugh along the way. We're looking for someone who brings the same positive energy, takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.

You'll also enjoy:

- A supportive and collaborative team setting.
- A central Melbourne CBD location, close to public transport.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP), including financial advice.
- Employee benefits, including birthday leave!
- Professional development support

Interested?

If you're friendly, organised, confident and enjoy taking ownership of a busy reception setting, we'd love to hear from you!
