Enzo's Pizzeria is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team. You'll help prepare delicious pizzas and Italian dishes, maintain consistent food quality, and keep the kitchen running smoothly during busy service periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas, pasta, and other menu items to our recipes and standards.
- Prepare ingredients, including dough, sauces, vegetables, and toppings.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and safe food storage procedures.
- Keep workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas clean and organised.
- Monitor stock levels, rotate ingredients, and minimise food waste.
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver orders accurately and on time.
- Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties.
About you
- Previous experience as a cook, ideally in a pizzeria or Italian restaurant.
- Experience preparing pizza dough and operating pizza ovens is an advantage.
- Positive understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen while maintaining quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and a supportive team member.
- Available for shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
