About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will be responsible for the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services required across Maritana Minerals' operations. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the role supports operational readiness and ongoing production by managing purchase orders, sourcing requirements, supplier relationships and delivery schedules in accordance with Company policies, budgets, contractual requirements and operational priorities.

Key responsibilities

- Manage purchase orders, sourcing requirements, supplier relationships and delivery schedules

- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services across operations

- Support operational readiness and ongoing production

- Establish purchasing, procurement or supply functions

- Coordinate freight and manage supplier quotations

- Set up company-wide procurement processes

- Manage competing priorities and respond to changing operational requirements

About you

You are an experienced and suitably qualified Procurement Officer with strong organisational skills and good attention to detail. You exhibit commercial awareness and have a cost-conscious approach.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Relevant qualification in procurement,



supply chain, business or a related discipline

- Previous experience in establishing purchasing, procurement or supply functions, preferably within mining, resources, construction or heavy industry

- Experience using purchasing, inventory or enterprise resource planning systems

- Sound understanding of purchase orders, supplier quotations, freight coordination

- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

- Previous experience with Pronto or similar is ideal

- Ability to manage competing priorities and respond to changing operational requirements

- Effective written and verbal communication skills

- Strong supplier and stakeholder engagement skills

- Practical problem-solving ability and a proactive approach

- High level of integrity, accountability and confidentiality

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Current Australian driver's licence

- Able to pass an E18 clearance and site medical

Location, Travel and Flexibility

This position will be residential in Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth to the Goldfields on a 8/6 roster.

Work Rights

Applicants must have full rights to live and work in Australia to be considered for this position. Preference will be given to candidates currently living in Perth or the Goldfields.
