About the Role

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented freelance Graphic / Brand Designer to help bring our Elite Trades to the next level of branding.

Your initial focus will be refining our existing brand identities, developing a clear visual direction and creating practical brand guidelines and marketing assets that help us show up consistently across every touchpoint.

From website graphics and digital ads to capability statements, presentations and sales/tender templates, you'll turn ideas into polished, professional creative that works in the real world.

You'll work closely with our Head of Growth & Marketing, with the freedom to bring your ideas to the table and take ownership of the creative process from concept to final delivery.

We're not looking for someone to reinvent everything just for the sake of it. We want a designer who understands what makes a brand work,



knows when to challenge the brief and can balance great design with practical business needs in a busy and demanding industry in construction and trade services.

What you'll bring

- Proven experience in brand identity, graphic design and/or creating marketing content for a business.
- A portfolio that shows off your best work, particularly branding, visual identity and marketing collateral.
- Confidence with design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
- A strong eye for visual storytelling, typography, colour and attention to detail.
- The ability to turn a brief to a creative concepts and polished, professional designs.
- Reliability and clear communication when working independently.
- An ABN, or the ability to obtain one before commencing.

Nice to have

- Experience with trade services, construction, energy or industrial brands.
- Experience developing brand guidelines and visual identities for multiple related brands.
- Confidence creating reusable Canva templates and editable marketing assets.
- Must know about UX/website design requirements.
- Experience with video editing tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere.
- A curious mind, a love of learning and a willingness to challenge ideas when you see a better way to do things.

- Freelance contract, initially project-based, with potential for ongoing work.
- Flexible working arrangements, with agreed deliverables and deadlines.
- Rate negotiable based on experience and project scope.
- Remote work, with occasional in-person meetings in Laverton North or on-site visits when required or video calls.
- A desk in our Laverton North office whenever you'd like one (coffee included, quality not guaranteed).
