Role Description

This is a full-time in office role for a Production Manager located in the Greater Brisbane Area. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards are met, optimizing production processes, and coordinating with suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

- Experience in manufacturing, production management, and process optimization
- Knowledge of quality control standards and production efficiency practices
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities




- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in the mining or industrial sector would be supporting.

Responsibilities

- Managing the day-to-day operations within the production environment, overseeing all production related projects, people, and process.
- Manage and maintain a Quality and Environmental Management System, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, enforcing a continuous improvement work culture.
- Schedule workloads to meet customer quality expectations and lead times.
- Monitor and maintain production KPI targets and performance.
- Ensure stock levels and resources are accurate and compatible to the level of production and customer delivery demands.
- Develop and provide adequate internal / external training to your team, increasing skill sets and knowledge required to work efficiently.
- Manage employee performance reviews in line with the Manufacturing Award, OH&S;, as well daily WPH&S; requirements.
- Manage maintenance and repair schedules, including capital expenditure for plant and equipment upgrades.
