AYN Services is looking for a reliable casual team member to work alongside our builders' cleans team in Townsville. You'll support our supervisor with residential and commercial builders' cleans, helping get sites clean and ready for handover.
The role
Tasks may include:
- Removing dust, paint spots, stickers and construction residue
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, windows, tracks, skirting boards and other surfaces
- Vacuuming, mopping and using cleaning equipment
- Moving cleaning equipment and other items around the site
- Following the clean plan and working safely around trades, tools and site hazards
- Helping with final checks so the site is ready for handover
What you'll need
- Previous cleaning experience,
ideally in builders' cleans or detailed cleaning
- A current open driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites
- Positive physical fitness for active work, including standing, bending, using stairs and safely lifting or carrying equipment
- Good attention to detail and pride in doing a thorough job
- Reliability, a good attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
- A willingness to follow site safety instructions and wear required PPE
- A current White Card, or willingness to obtain one if required for the sites you'll be working on. Queensland requires general construction induction training for people carrying out construction work, and workers must keep their card with them on site.
Casual work with shifts offered as jobs come up. Some early starts, longer days or travel between sites may be involved.
