Are you an experienced embedded firmware engineer who enjoys taking products to production?

We're partnering with a well-established Australian technology company that has built a robust reputation for designing and delivering innovative connected products.

Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their Sydney-based engineering team.

This is a hands‑on role where you'll play a key part throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept and architecture through development, testing, manufacturing, and ongoing product support.

You'll work on modern embedded systems, IoT-connected devices, and next‑generation products that make a real impact.

What we’re looking for:

- 8+ years' commercial experience developing embedded firmware
- Proven experience delivering embedded products from concept through to production
- Strong embedded C/C++ programming skills
- Experience developing low‑level drivers and embedded communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C)
- Experience rapidly developing prototypes and MVPs using Arduino




- Experience working with 32‑bit microcontrollers including STM32, PIC32 or ESP32
- Experience with IoT connectivity technologies including Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth and cellular communications

Desirable skills:

- Experience developing firmware within RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS
- Experience creating embedded graphical user interfaces using tools such as LVGL, MGS or TouchGFX
- Experience developing firmware for system‑level and PCBA production test systems
- Exposure to desktop or mobile software development (iOS, Android or Windows)
