Leading Hand / Maintenance / Special Projects - Luxury Home Builder

Build Up Recruitment – Sydney North Shore NSW One of Sydney's leading architecturally designed home builders is looking to appoint a Leading Hand / Maintenance Foreman to focus on their smaller / special projects. This is a newly created role offering stability, autonomy and a genuine work-life balance. You might be a seasoned Carpenter or Site Manager looking for a more manageable role, or a younger, energetic candidate who enjoys problem solving and working directly with clients. Either way, you will get to work across some of Sydney's most impressive homes - handling defects, small works and general client care. You will be attending previously completed projects valued up to $25m, carrying out minor rectification works, coordinating trades, assessing upcoming maintenance needs and running smaller works up to $1m in value. Key Responsibilities:





Completing minor rectification works and managing defect items Coordinating subcontractors and scheduling specialist trades Managing client enquiries professionally and providing transparent updates Assessing maintenance requests, troubleshooting issues and scoping small works Maintaining accurate records of works, timeframes and materials Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Identifying potential future works and reporting back to the office What We're Looking For:

Experience in high-end residential as a Carpenter, Maintenance Manager, Leading Hand or Site Manager Strong problem-solving ability and the confidence to work independently Professional communication and client-facing skills Solid construction knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues on site Organised and reliable with strong attention to detail Carpentry trade preferred but not essential
