As a full-time role based in East Brisbane, Queensland, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations and ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for guests.

The Lord Stanley Hotel has undergone a multi-million-dollar transformation. Featuring a state-of-the-art Gaming Room , one of Brisbane’s greenest and most inviting Beer Gardens , a Sports Bar, Restaurant , a massive 200” LED TV wall , Kids Playground, Function Room , and a stunning Deck overlooking the Gabba . Lord Stanley Hotel is fast becoming the premier hospitality destination in East Brisbane.

About the Role The Hakfoort Group is seeking an accomplished and driven Hotel Manager to lead our team at the Lord Stanley Hotel, East Brisbane. As the Hotel manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, fostering strong relationships with team members and customers, and maintaining a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.

What you'll be doing

Providing strong leadership and management to the hotel staff;

Ensuring operational processes and procedures are followed to deliver excellent customer service;

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel.

Managing budgets and financial performance to maximise profitability;





Implementing marketing and promotional strategies to attract new guests

Fostering a positive and productive work environment for all hotel employees;

Monitoring and addressing guest feedback to continuously improve the hotel experience.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a high-volume venue will be highly regarded;

Significant experience as a Hotel Manager or in a senior hospitality management role;

Proven track record of successfully managing all aspects of hotel operations;

Strong financial management skills and the ability to drive profitability;

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead a team;

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment;

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
