Metrowide Facility Management is seeking experienced and reliable Tractor Operators to join our team delivering mechanical beach cleaning services across the Bayside City Council municipality.

The successful candidates will operate tractors equipped with specialised mechanical beach cleaning equipment to ensure designated beaches remain clean, safe and well-presented for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Operate tractors and specialised mechanical beach cleaning machinery.
Undertake scheduled mechanical beach cleaning across designated Bayside beaches.
Remove litter, debris and other waste materials from beach surfaces.
Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic machinery maintenance.
Follow designated cleaning routes and operational schedules.
Safely operate equipment around pedestrians and beach users.
Monitor beach conditions and identify potential hazards.
Report equipment faults and maintenance requirements.
Complete daily operational reports and machinery checklists.
Comply with workplace health and safety and environmental protection requirements.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience operating tractors or similar heavy machinery.
Current driver's licence appropriate to the position.
Sound mechanical knowledge and basic maintenance skills.
Experience operating machinery on uneven or challenging terrain.
Strong understanding of machinery safety and safe operating procedures.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
Highly Desirable
Previous mechanical beach cleaning experience.
Agricultural, civil construction, landscaping or foreshore maintenance experience.
Experience with tractor attachments and hydraulic systems.
Relevant machinery operation qualifications or training.
