Do you like helping people find what actually works for them, and enjoy a day with some variety? This full-time role mixes face-to-face care in our Stafford mobility showroom with online problem-solving for customers right across Australia. If you care about doing it properly, we'd love to hear from you.
ABOUT US
SuperPharmacyPlus is an independent, locally owned community pharmacy and mobility business based in Stafford, North Brisbane, with an online shop serving customers Australia-wide. Our purpose is "Empowering people to live happier, healthier lives", and our brand line is "Convenience with Care". You'll work alongside pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, mobility specialists, occupational therapists and allied health assistants, and you'll get to learn across disciplines. We serve older Australians, people with disability, carers and families, NDIS, DVA and private customers, and partners such as occupational therapists, who trial equipment with clients in our showroom every day.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a new combined role, and we want to be upfront about how your week looks.
About 70% – Mobility floor and hire (Stafford showroom)
You'll be part of a mobility customer service team of about eight people.
- Welcome customers, carers and therapists, and help them choose equipment that suits their everyday needs: wheelchairs, walking frames and rollators, bathroom, bedroom and daily living aids, compression garments, supports and braces, continence aids and more
- Support occupational therapists and clinicians as they trial equipment with their clients in our showroom
- Process sales, quotes and orders in our systems
- Process hire bookings, agreements, extensions and returns. Hire is local, from Stafford, with pickup or local/metro delivery (fees apply), charged per 28-day hire month
- Prepare, check and clean hire and trial equipment, and coordinate pickups and local deliveries with the team
- Keep the showroom tidy, safe, stocked and well presented
About 30% – Online customer service (email)
You'll share the online inbox with one other team member.
- Answer online shop customer emails about products, order status, delivery, returns and warranty
- Give accurate, friendly and productive answers
- Work with our online fulfilment team to sort out order problems
Clinical questions always go to a pharmacist, and complex seating or fitting needs go to an OT.
Why combine them? What you learn on the floor helps you answer mobility emails well. That crossover is the reason this role exists.
How we work
We sell mobility equipment the way a health professional would recommend it, not the way a commission-driven salesperson pushes it. There are no sales KPIs and no sales incentives. You'll be trained in our "Selling Mobility With CARE" approach: connect with the person, assess what they actually need, recommend clearly, ease the barriers (including funding questions), and close confidently with follow-up support. There are two ways to fail: selling someone what they don't need, or letting them leave without what they do need.
Hours:
While we do have some flexibility, we would be looking for someone 25-38 hours per week which would include 1 weekend shift (after training completed) as well as a 6:30pm finish on at least 1 weekday. Please confirm your availability when you apply.
ABOUT YOU
