We are seeking experienced Operators and Riggers to join our team working across heavy industrial environments. This role is suited to individuals who can work safely and independently while maintaining high standards of productivity and compliance. Opportunities are available for experienced personnel to step into Leading Hand responsibilities, supervising and coordinating small crews as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rigging, lifting, and operational duties safely and efficiently.
- Operate equipment in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements.
- Work independently and effectively within industrial environments.
- Conduct pre-start checks and maintain equipment in a safe working condition.
- Follow site-specific work instructions and risk management procedures.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients.
- For Leading Hand positions, supervise, coordinate, and provide guidance to small crews.
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience as a Rigger and/or Operator in industrial environments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated experience working in:
- Ports
- Manufacturing facilities
- Mining operations
- Energy and power stations
- Cement plants
- Heavy industrial environments
Position Levels & Pay Rates
Casual R2 – Experienced Operator/Rigger
- Capable of working independently.
- Strong operational and rigging experience.
- Pay Rate: $53.70 per hour
Casual R3 – Leading Hand Operator/Rigger
- Leading Hand-level experience.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate small crews.
- Strong leadership and site coordination skills.
- Pay Rate: $56.30 per hour
